The numbers written on the wall during the performance are based on the crochet instructions, created by the mathematicians Hinke M. Osinga & Bernd Krauskopf, for the Lorenz Manifold, which is hanging in the center of the space in the photos.

Although the stitch numbers in the pattern seem chaotic, without rhyme or reason, the numbers in-between frequently give rise to repeating patterns, to an order in the chaos.
