One of the artist’s insatiable hungers is a hunger for knowledge. In her work as a translator of books on art, architecture, and urban planning, she is constantly bombarded by information, and the need to know more. Through her translation work, she came across the „Nuremburg Funnel,“ a German expression for mechanically absorbing or being force-fed knowledge.

The question that arose in the artist’s mind in creating this performance is whether one might simply absorb so much knowledge that the funnel becomes filled up to the brim and the ’student‘ subsequently flatlines.
